Dr. Rachel Cain is a board-certified otolaryngologist with Southwestern Colorado Ear, Nose, and Throat Associates. She is a Durango native who is proud to care for patients in the community she calls home. She earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont and went on to complete both her internship and residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Cain received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat conditions for both children and adults. She has since returned to Southwestern Colorado as a co-owner of Southwestern Colorado Ear, Nose and Throat, where she provides comprehensive ENT care using the latest evidence-based treatments.
Dedicated to building strong doctor-patient relationships, Dr. Cain emphasizes trust, respect, and open communication. In addition to general otolaryngology services, she offers specialized treatments including EarWell, a non-surgical option for correcting newborn ear deformities, and Inspire implant surgery for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
