Dr. Christian Garcia earned both his bachelor’s degree and medical degree from the University of New Mexico. Born and raised in Northern New Mexico, he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Prior to joining Four Corners OBGYN, Dr. Garcia practiced obstetrics and gynecology in rural Arizona.
Dr. Garcia provides comprehensive women’s health care for patients from adolescence through menopause. His services include obstetric care, gynecologic care, annual well-woman exams, office visits, and surgical procedures. He is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care that supports women through every stage of life.
Dr. Garcia moved to Durango to be closer to family in Northern New Mexico and to enjoy the area’s outdoor lifestyle. He is fluent in Spanish and has traveled extensively, including medical and personal travel to El Salvador and Ecuador. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his partner and their two dogs, as well as exploring the trails and outdoor activities of the Four Corners region.
