Anna Kupcha, MD

Anna Kupcha, MD is a board-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in conditions of the eyelids, orbit, and surrounding facial structures. She provides advanced oculoplastic surgery and medical care for patients at Four Corners Eye Clinic in Durango, Colorado, serving the greater Four Corners region.

Dr. Kupcha earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She then completed a highly competitive ophthalmology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a prestigious two-year fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she trained under nationally recognized oculoplastic surgeon Dr. Louise Mawn.

Prior to relocating to Durango, Dr. Kupcha served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine, where she practiced as an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon and was appointed service chief in 2022.

Dr. Kupcha is an active contributor to her field, with national conference presentations, clinical research, and peer-reviewed publications focused on orbital disease, eyelid disorders, thyroid eye disease, and periocular reconstruction. She is a member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
